EBC athletes at the Boat Races 2026!

We are delighted to share that an impressive five EBC athletes (very close to last year's record of six) will be racing down the Championship Course against Oxford in a week and a half! It is thanks to impressive commitment and determination that they have achieved this feat.

Matt Moran (Masters in Finance) makes his Boat Race debut coxing the women's Blue Boat, looking to help continue Cambridge's winning streak to nine years in a row.

Luke Beever (Undergraduate Engineering) returns for a fourth year following three consecutive wins (Goldie '23, '24 and Blue Boat '25) in the 7 seat of Goldie, sat in front of Simon Nunayon (PhD in Clinical Neurosciences) who returns after winning for Goldie last year.

Ellie Sillar (Undergraduate Natural Sciences) returns to Blondie, this time in the four seat, after victory in gold last year.

Olivia Wright (Undergraduate Natural Sciences), who learnt to row at EBC, makes her Boat Race debut racing in the 3 seat of the lightweight women's Blue Boat.
